In 2016, a new study major – urban farming – was created at the Atid Raziel youth village in Herzliya.

The hydroponic systems are a major part of the facilities in the new field of studies.

The students study and experiment with hydroponic systems, seasonal vegetable growing, fertilizers and pesticides, vertical crops, producing herbal household products (insect repellent, toothpaste, moisturizing lipstick …).
