‘Bet Hagalgalim’ in Herzliya is a day center for disabled members.

LivingBOX systems have been installed in the ‘Bet Hagalgalim’ – a mini greenhouse for DWC hydroponic crops. The system is especially suitable for people in a wheelchair – the height of the system and access to it from both sides allow members to independently handle the system.

 Tomatoes, basil and tomatoes are grown in the systems visit site. The fresh produce is distributed among the growers or sold to the foundation’s employees.

Indoors, a ‘Florentine’ aquaponics system, which combines fish and vegetables growing, was installed in one of the hallways and uses artificial lighting.
