The educational greenhouse project at the Katzir School was founded in by the school staff in cooperation with the parents committee and led by Galit Ben Harosh.

The greenhouse contains hydroponic growing systems in floating rafts and vertically mounted tubes (NFT) alongside seeders where students sow a variety of plants for experimentation.
