LivinGreen – Hydroponics & Aquaponics

Ma’as (Rehabilitation Work Project) – Umm al-Fahm

The project is a joint effort of LivinGreen, the environmental activist Ibrahim Zoabi of ‘Green-Yes’ and the director of the local Environmental Unit, Mrs. Nahed Sif.

Ma’as – a rehabilitative work project for the developmental disabled provides employment and training for adults. In this project, a therapeutic greenhouse was built green plants such as lettuce, basil and more, using hydroponics in floating rafts. For more info visit We believe that working with plants and water in a growing and flowing environment highly benefits the grower. In addition, there is a Mini-Meron aquaponics system for cultivating fish and plants in three growing methods (floating rafts, flood and drain and NFT tubing).
