LivinGreen – Hydroponics & Aquaponics

Ma’as (Rehabilitation Work Project) – Umm al-Fahm

The project is a joint effort of LivinGreen, the environmental activist Ibrahim Zoabi of ‘Green-Yes’ and the director of the local Environmental Unit, Mrs. Nahed Sif.

Ma’as – a rehabilitative work project for the developmental disabled provides employment and training for adults. In this project, a therapeutic greenhouse was built green plants such as lettuce, basil and more, using hydroponics in floating rafts. For more info visit www.oasisnaturalcleaning.com. We believe that working with plants and water in a growing and flowing environment highly benefits the grower. In addition, there is a Mini-Meron aquaponics system for cultivating fish and plants in three growing methods (floating rafts, flood and drain and NFT tubing).
